Returns Policy

Last updated: 3 September 2026

We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. This Returns Policy complies with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of the date you (or a third party you designated) received the goods. No reason is required.

Withdraw from your purchase here — the function takes a minute, works without an account, and sends you an acknowledgement stating the time your notice reached us. The order confirmation email carries a direct link to it, and the model withdrawal form is on the same page. You can also simply email us; the function is the quicker route, not the only one.

How to Return

  1. Email info@buzzin-bees.com within 14 days of receipt, stating your order number and that you wish to return.
  2. We will reply within 2 business days with return instructions.
  3. Return the product in its original, sealed packaging. Items must be unused and in resaleable condition.
  4. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving your notice that you are withdrawing. We may wait to pay until the goods are back with us, or until you show us they have been sent. If you are returning faulty goods rather than withdrawing, we refund once we have seen them.

A card payment goes back through Stripe to the card you paid with. A Swish payment is refunded by Swish, to the number you paid from — sent by hand, so allow us a working day or two.

The delivery cost you paid comes back too. When you withdraw from the whole order we refund the postage we charged you for sending it. What you pay to send the parcel back to us is yours — unless the item was faulty or wrongly sent, in which case we cover the return as well.

Free delivery and partial returns. Free delivery applies from 1 000 SEK, the threshold itself included. If you withdraw from part of an order and what you keep falls below that, we reserve the right to deduct the delivery cost that would have applied to the goods you keep — the same delivery you would have paid had you ordered only those. It is not a charge for withdrawing. We do not normally apply it to a one-off return; we do apply it where returns are repeated. Nothing is deducted when you withdraw from the whole order, and nothing is ever deducted when the item was faulty or wrongly sent.

We may deduct from the refund any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.

Exceptions — Opened or Unsealed Products

Because of the nature of our products — food and consumable bee-care supplements — and for reasons of health protection and hygiene, the right of withdrawal does not apply, under Art. 16(d) and 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, to:

  • Liquids and sprays whose plastic vented cap has been opened or its seal broken.
  • Cakes, tablets and strips whose inner packet has been opened or torn.
  • Honey jars whose own seal has been broken. An opened food jar cannot be sold again, which is exactly what this exception is for.
  • Other supplements and consumables that can deteriorate or expire once opened.

The outer shipping box is not the seal. You are welcome to open the parcel and examine what is inside, exactly as you would handle a product in a shop — that does not affect your right to return it. What cannot be returned is a product whose own cap or inner packet has been opened.

Only products with their own seal intact may be returned within the 14-day period. A faulty product is not covered by this exception. If what reached you is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, your right to complain under the Consumer Sales Act stands whether the seal is broken or not — see Defective or Incorrect Items below. The exception is about changing your mind, and nothing else.

Defective or Incorrect Items

Damage in transit or a wrong item: please tell us within 15 days of receipt. Report it with a photo of the parcel and the product and we will arrange a free return and a replacement or a full refund, shipping included. The short window is not us being difficult — carriers give us only a few weeks to file a damage claim, and after that we cannot recover it.

A fault that appears later is a different matter and is not limited by that window. Your statutory right to complain under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen 2022:260) covers a fault that was already there when the goods reached you — the wrong contents, a seal that failed, a batch that was not what it should have been — and a complaint made within two months of discovering it always counts as made in time. That right runs for three years from delivery, and it is separate from the 14-day right to change your mind — a fault is not a withdrawal.

What counts as a fault depends on what the goods are. These are feed supplements, not equipment: each pack carries a recommended use-by date, generally 24 months from manufacture. That date is the period we stand behind, and passing it is not in itself a fault — nor is the smell or the settling that a naturally produced, fermented product develops over time. Store them as the label says, between 5 and 20 °C and out of direct sunlight, and use them within the recommended period.
