About the use of artificial intelligence on this website
Last updated: 29 August 2026
In the spirit of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) and because we would rather say it than be asked, this page explains where artificial intelligence is and is not used at buzzin-bees.com.
There is no chatbot on this site
Nothing here talks back. There is no assistant, no chat window, and no field anywhere on the site whose contents are sent to an AI service. If you write to us, a person reads it.
An earlier version of this page described an “Ask Bee” assistant. It was planned and never built, and the page was not corrected when the plan changed. We have corrected it now, and we mention it because a transparency notice that describes something imaginary is not transparency.
Where AI is used
- Writing and translating. Some of the text on this site — product descriptions, parts of the knowledge articles, the Swedish translations — was drafted or checked with the help of an AI assistant, and then read, corrected and approved by a human before it was published. Nobody publishes a sentence here that nobody has read.
- Building the site. The code behind the shop is written with AI assistance, reviewed the same way any code is.
Neither of those touches you. No visitor data, no order data and no message you send us is used to train anything, or passed to an AI service.
What we do not use it for
- No automated decisions about you — nothing about your order, your payment or your return is decided by a machine. A person confirms every Swish payment and approves every refund by hand.
- No profiling, no scoring, no automated advertising.
- No AI-generated photographs of our hives, our bees or our honey. The pictures are ours.
Beekeeping advice
Whether written with AI help or not, everything on this site about bee health is general information, not veterinary advice. Colonies differ, seasons differ, and Swedish conditions differ from those in most of the literature. For a sick colony, ask your local beekeeping association or a veterinarian.
If that changes
If we ever add an assistant that reads what you type, this page will say so — what it is, which provider processes the text, and what happens to it — before the feature goes live, and the privacy policy will list the processor.
